BAR Piazza is closed today following a break in last night.
The restaurant, which is in John Frost Square, Newport, took to social media to speak of the incident, before adding hopes it will re-open tomorrow.
The post read: "Bar Piazza will be closed today due to a break in last night.
"Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

"We hope to be re-open tomorrow as normal.

A spokesman from Gwent Police said: "At approximately 9am this morning, our officers were informed of burglary at a business on John Frost Square, Newport.
"Unknown offenders are believed to have gained entry via force to a window. An amount of money was stolen from the till.
"Our enquiries are ongoing at this time.
"Anyone who has any information about this is asked to call 101 quoting reference 1900351776 or direct message us through Facebook or Twitter."
