A 19-YEAR-OLD man from the Rogiet area has been arrested on suspicion of robbery, in connection with an incident at the village's BP petrol station this morning.
The incident happened at around 1.40am.
A Gwent Police spokesman said nobody was hurt during the incident, in which items were stolen from the garage.

Members of the public reported a heavy police presence in the area this morning, and a police helicopter was reported to be flying over the village in the early hours of the morning.
The Gwent Police spokesman said officers would like to hear from any witnesses that may have seen a man in the area this morning.
He is described as white, of slim build, around 5ft 10in tall, and was wearing a black jacket and white gloves.
