St Martin in the Gaer: I have been asked to mention the letter which has been handed to me on behalf of St Martins.
The family of St Martin in the Gaer has reached her half century.
The celebrations will take the form of two services.
On Friday November 9 at 7pm there will be Choral evensong sung by the Cathedral choir. Then on Sunday, November 11, there will be a Sung Eucharist which will be celebrated by the Lord Bishop of Monmouth.
There will be refreshments after both services.
We warmly invite you to join us in celebrating our 50th birthday.
All are welcome, old friends and new.
New draughts club: Mr Perkins has asked me to mention that he has started a new Draughts Club at the Gaer Club.
The club will meet on Wednesday evenings at 7pm, the meetings are informal and it is hoped that a good number will turn up to play a game or two and enjoy each other's company.
