NEWPORT'S Friars Walk shopping centre is to lose one of its original stores - Top Shop - which is currently running a closign down sale.
A large sign in the window is currently advertising the sale, with reduction of up to 70 per cent on stock.

In March 2012, the store, which was on the High Street, closed and relocated to Spytty Retail Park.

But it moved into Friars Walk shopping centre when this opened in November 2015.
Simon Pullen, centre director at Friars Walk, said: “We can confirm that Topshop will be closing at the shopping centre from Saturday, March 7.
“Topshop has been a valued tenant at Friars Walk since the day of opening and during that time we have built up a great relationship with the staff at the store and head office. We wish them all well for the future.
“As a centre, we are in constant dialogue with new and existing retailers about taking space within Friars Walk to ensure that we are meeting the local demand and are continually reviewing our tenant mix and targeting retailers we think will trade well and complement our existing line-up.
"We will announce any new arrivals when we are in a position to do so.”
