SNOW was predicted to fall overnight on Monday across Blaenau Gwent but seems to have only received a smattering.

Throughout Tuesday, Ebbw Vale, Tredegar, and bordering wards are set to see a mix of sleet and rain.

And those hoping for wintery scenes are set to be disappointed as the Met Office is not predicting any snowfall today.

Although it is still pretty nippy out there, the Met Office is forecasting warmer spells.

Most areas of Gwent will see temperatures fluctuating between 5 and 6 degrees Celcius.
