Crash on the SDR
UPDATE 11.40am: The road is now clear and traffic is flowing freely once again.

A MAJOR route through Newport is partially blocked following a collision.
The incident has occurred on the Southern Distributor Road (SDR) near the bridge over the river Usk.

The crash has occurred on the westbound side of the road, between Corporation Road (Corporation Road Traffic Lights) and A4042 (Old Town Dock traffic lights).
Traffic is queuing around the scene.
