GWENT Police are appealing for information after two police cars were targeted by vandals last night.
The rear windscreens of both marked police cars were smashed while they were parked outside Bettws Police Station last night, Tuesday, March 17.
Jitka Tomkova-Griffiths the local inspector, said: “This damage now means two of our police cars that we use daily to serve our communities are off the road, it’s really disappointing to see such a mindless act of vandalism.
"We are now in the process of making enquiries to trace the offenders and are reviewing CCTV in the area.”
