The new social distancing measures have been created to provide extra safety for those who are unable to work from home during the coronavirus pandemic.

In response, Caerphilly County Borough Council has brought in more back-up vehicles and has warned residents that bin collections could take longer than usual.
The council’s cabinet member for corporate services Cllr Colin Gordon said: “The health and wellbeing of staff is of paramount importance to the council.
“Steps have already been taken to ensure the safety of staff across the council, which will be monitored and reviewed as necessary.
“We are committed to delivering key services for local communities, but we must also ensure the safety of staff.
“We therefore ask for residents’ patience during these unprecedented times, as we adapt the way our services are delivered in order to protect our workforce.”
