A MAN is to stand trial after he denied allegations of assaulting two women and being armed with a door handle as an offensive weapon.
Lee Jones, 27, of Hill Street, Blaenavon, pleaded not guilty to the charges during a hearing at Cardiff Crown Court.
He denies assault occasioning actual bodily harm, assault by beating and possessing an offensive weapon in Blaenavon on March 13.

Jones is due to face a trial which is due to start on July 28 at Newport Crown Court and expected to last between two and three days.
The defendant was remanded in custody by Judge Jeremy Jenkins.
Tony Trigg represented the prosecution and Owen Williams for Jones.
