GWENT Police officers are appealing for information after a Steiff teddy bear was stolen in Bargoed.
The burglary took place in Maes-y-Graig Street in Gilfach, Bargoed, 9am and 10pm on Thursday, February 27.
The teddy bear, which has sentimental value to the victim, a man in his eighties, is described as: “A grey coloured bear with the original bent arms and grey in colour, the paws are brown but not the original paws, it has button eyes with a prominent nose".

The bear is named William George Granville Venables Vernon-Harcourt – and is similar to the teddy in this picture.
