MORE than 2,000 key workers have been tested for coronavirus at Newport's Rodney Parade according to the Aneurin Bevan Health Board.
The testing centre has been operational since March 27 and is staffed by around 30 people at any one time.
This includes a mix of both clinical and clerical staff.
A health board spokesperson said: "“Swabbing is carried out by a clinical practitioner on a drive-through basis, so individuals don’t need to leave their vehicle when they attend for testing.
“The site also hosts three mobile testing units that are able to test individuals at home if they are too ill or unable to drive to Rodney Parade.”
