A TEENAGER has been charged over the alleged stabbing a man in the chest with a kitchen knife.
David Young, 19, is accused of assaulting 23-year-old Brandon Masterson, from Cwmcarn, in the Pantside area of Newbridge on May 28.
The defendant, of Bryncoed Terrace, Penpedairheol, Caerphilly, has been charged with wounding with intent and possessing an offensive weapon.

Young was remanded in custody after appearing at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.
He is due to appear before a judge at Newport Crown Court on June 29.
