Last Week's photograph was of the Great British Burger on the corner of Austin Friars Walk. Here's what you had to say:
A recent photo of Austin Friars. On the corner of the road and Commercial Street was the Midland Bank which had stood there since before the war, now gone, I think it is a coffee bar. Next down is Timpson's shoe repairers and key cutting, then on the corner was the Wimpy bar - I never had any inclination to visit it. In the middle of the road were public toilets. Just around the corner from the Wimpy in Dock Street was a small model shop, they sold plastic model kits but I went there for Humbrol model paints of which they had a very good selection.
