A ROAD in Monmouthshire was closed for more than five hours yesterday after a lorry hit a tree.
The incident took place on Itton Road (B4293) between Howick and Itton Common.
A lorry collided with a tree, resulting in fallen debris blocking the road. Residents were advised to avoid the area.

The road was closed from 10am until just after 3pm yesterday.
No injuries were reported at the time of the crash, and the road was fully reopened at around 3.10pm.
