Lower Dock Street, Newport, near the Asda store
A MAN is in hospital following a crash on Newport's Lower Dock Street this morning.
The incident occurred at around 10.30am this morning.
A car and a pedestrian were involved on the stretch near the Asda store.

The road was closed to traffic in both directions for a time while emergency crews made the scene safe.
The pedestrian, a man, was taken to hospital by road.
Gwent Police have said that his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
