NEWPORT is the hardest place in South Wales to pass your driving test.

The test centre in Newport saw just over half of its learners achieve a pass last year.

That is the lowest pass rate across South Wales.

New figures released by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency show that only 53.7 per cent of learners passed their test in Newport in the second half of 2020.

Abergavenny was the third easiest place to pass your test, with a pass rate of 62.9 per cent.
