A VAN driver has been taken to hospital "as a precaution" following an earlier crash on the M4 outside of Cardiff.
The emergency services attended a crash involving two vans between junction 32 A470 (Coryton Interchange) and junction 33 A4232 (Cardiff West And Services) just after 7am.
The crash has now been cleared, with the AA reporting both vehicles are now on the hard shoulder, and traffic beginning to ease.

A South Wales Police spokesman said: "At 7.10am this morning emergency services were called to a road traffic collision involving two vans which happened on the westbound carriageway of the M4 between junctions 32 and 33.
"A driver of one of the vans has been taken to University Hospital of Wales as a precaution.
"The vehicles have been removed."

Traffic on the motorway was queuing back as far as Lisvane, just after junction 30 for Cardiff Gate.
However, it is now only back as far as junction 32 A470 (Coryton Interchange).
The delays also still causing some delays coming out of the centre of Cardiff. Congestion on the A470 had been as far north as Nantgarw, but this has now eased significantly.
