A NEWPORT teenager who was caught with a knife in public has been given a suspended jail sentence.
On Tuesday, March 30, 2021, Keiron Dean Raybould, 18, was caught carrying a lock-knife in Clytha Square, Newport.
Appearing at Newport Magistrates’ Court, Raybould of Fisher Close, Newport pleaded guilty to the offence, and was jailed for 12 weeks, suspended for 18 months.
The knife has been destroyed.
