CHILDREN ON SONG AT YULETIDE: Talented children in Cwmbran delighted the community when they sang a selection of Christmas songs for residents.
Pupils at Brookfield Primary School put on their best performance at Alliance Pharmacy, in Old Cwmbran.
The children also did paintings about the meaning of Christmas and the best from each class won an art set.
Sheryl Shier, retail manager at Alliance Pharmacy, said: "It was really difficult choosing the winners. They were all lovely. The choir was wonderful, everyone got into the festive spirit."
Mrs Michelle Bellew, head teacher at Brookfield Primary School, said: "The children put a lot of effort into their art and singing and received an outstanding reaction from the community."
