Eyewitnesses report major tailbacks after a three vehicle accident on the A465 this afternoon.
The Heads Of The Valleys road is shut both ways between A4046 (Ebbw Vale) and A4047 King Street / A467 (Brynmawr) and is closed for recovery work.
Visibility is reported to be very poor in the area.
