POLICE in Rogerstone urged residents to attend their local Police And Communities Together (PACT) meeting this month.
The meeting, at the Rivermead Centre on Thursday, January 17, at 6pm, will give people the chance to tell their Neighbourhood Policing Team how they can best serve the area.
The PACT scheme aims to prioritise the public's local needs and get communities to know their local officers.
Rogerstone officer Mark Ruddick said: "We want to emphasise the importance of people's attendance, so they can have a say on our policing priorities."
Police drop-in surgeries will also be held between 11am and 1pm at the Morrisons supermarket in Rogerstone on Wednesday, January 30; Friday, February 29; Monday, March 31; Wednesday, April 30; and Friday May 30.
A new police surgery will be launched at the Co-op store in St Johns Crescent, Rogerstone, on Wednesday January 23, between 2pm and 4pm.
