EIGHTEEN Gwent schools will be inspected by teams from the education and training inspectorate (Estyn) during the current spring term, as part of an ongoing programme.
They are: Coed-y-Garn primary, Blaina; Markham, Pontllanfraith, Llanyrafon and New Inn primaries; Brookfield primary, Cwmbran; George Street primary, Pontypool; Eveswell primary, Newport; Woodlands community primary, Cwmbran; Glasllwch community primary, Newport; Gilwern community primary; St Mary's junior and special needs unit, Caldicot; Malpas Church In Wales junior, Newport; Risca community; Duffryn High, Newport; Ebbw Vale comprehensive; Ysgol Gyfun Gwynllyw, Pontypool; Crownbridge special day school, Pontypool.
