YOUNG people in Blaenavon can try their hand at a range of circus skills on Thursday at a unique workshop.
Plate spinning, juggling, and ball walking are just three of the skills young people can learn.
The unusual event has been organised to encourage 11-15 year olds to come along and give their views on a project which could receive £2 million from the Heritage Lottery Fund Wales.
The Forgotten Landscapes project, originated from a small number of interested organisations led by Gwent Wildlife Trust and Torfaen Council, and covers more than 70 square kilometres.
If the application for £2 million from Heritage Lottery Fund Wales is successful the project will bring wide ranging benefits for local people, farmers, the business community, education providers and visitors.
The circus skills workshop will be combined with a presentation on the project so the young people's views can be included in the plans.
They can comment on existing project ideas and add their own ideas.
One of the key project aims is to involve and educate young people in their heritage and environment. It is being held on Thursday 14 January from 6pm - 9pm in the Blaenavon Workmen's Hall, High Street, Blaenavon.
