COSTS incurred by Newport city council in relation to the housing stock transfer ballot should be repaid by the Assembly, members were told today.
Councillor Matthew Evans, the Conservative leader of the opposition, asked if the council would receive all the costs.
Councillor Bob Bright, council leader, said: "All these items are looked at in some considerable detail by the Assembly but we are expecting to receive full compensiation."
