TODAY marks 24 years since the untimely death of Princess Diana.
A popular figure not just in the UK, but across the world, her tragic and sudden death on August 31, 1997, sent shockwaves across the globe.
Today, 24 years on, she is still remembered fondly by many as the People's Princess.
