NO injuries were reported in a crash that closed a road for more than two hours last night.
The initial incident happened around 8.10pm on Wednesday, September 1 and involved a crash between two vehicles on Coast Road, St Brides Wentlooge.
Gwent Police initially said that the road was closed and to avoid the area.
A spokeswoman for Gwent Police said:
"We received a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Coast Road, St Brides Wentlooge, shortly before 8.10pm last night, 1 September.
"No injuries reported.
"The road was closed for recovery work but reopened at around 10.30pm.

The road is expected to be closed for the next few hours. Please avoid the area where possible and find an alternative route.
