SINGING superstar Katherine Jenkins could soon be moving into this stunning £5 million Gwent home, the Argus understands.
The 27-year-old mezzo-soprano is rumoured to be interested in purchasing the 13-bedroom country mansion in Shirenewton, Monmouthshire.
A music industry source close to the classical singer says she is buying the Grade II listed building, which overlooks Shirenewton Conservation Area and boasts six reception rooms, three guest suites, an indoor swimming pool and formal grounds and gardens spanning a massive 29.5 acres.
The house is currently listed on the website of high class estate agents Hamptons International.
The estate agents describe it as "an eminent and beautifully preserved Grade II listed country house in a parkland setting overlooking Shirenewton Conservation Area and commanding spectacular views.
The former teacher from Neath signed the largest record deal in UK classical recording history, with an undisclosed seven-figure deal in 2004, aged just 23 and became the fastest-selling female opera singer since Maria Callas.
Last month she relieved she had been on a string of romantic dates with Strictly Come Dancing star and Blue Peter presenter Gethin Jones, 29.
Ms Jenkins currently lives in a flat in North London. She spent much of last year touring and performing around the world.
A spokeswoman for Hamptons last night denied the rumours were true.
