A SUPERVISION scheme for wayward youngsters is looking for volunteers to become positive role models.
The Intensive Supervision and Surveillance Programme (ISSP) wants volunteers to help encourage and motivate young people to become involved in work programmes.
ISSP staff are attached to the Caerphilly and Blaenau Gwent, Monmouthshire and Torfaen and Newport Youth Offending Teams.
Volunteers will work in the local community with young people aged ten to eighteen who are persistent or serious offenders.
They will support young offenders serving community sentences in the community to engage in programmes of work.
For more information and an application pack contact ISSP officer Natalie Hoskins or operational manager Vivienne Sanders on 01495 231351.
