A BODY in connection with the search for a woman whose car was found close to the Severn Bridge has been found.
Gloucestershire Police reported that a body has been found in the water in connection with the missing 56-year-old Jayne from Lydney.
The body was recovered by the coastguard close to Beachley. Jayne was reported missing after her car was found by the bridge yesterday morning (September 21).
Her next of kin and the coroner have been informed and Gloucestershire Police have said her death is not being treated as suspicious.

They thank everyone who helped in the search, including SARA and the coastguard and that their thoughts are with Jayne’s family and friends.
The statement reads: “We're sad to report that a body has been found in connection with the search for missing 56-year-old Jayne.
“Colleagues from the coastguard recovered a body from the water, close to Beachley.
Jayne's next of kin and the coroner have been informed and her death is not being treated as suspicious.
“We would like to thank all those who helped in the search, including SARA and the coastguard.
“Our thoughts are with Jayne’s family and friends at this tragic time.”
