* Wright Minimix Ltd, of 2 St Ivel Way, Bristol, is applying to change an existing Goods Vehicle Operator's Licence to keep and extra three goods vehicles and three trailers at the operating centre at 18 Westway Road, Alexandra Docks, Newport.
* Fagan and Whalley Limited, of Albion House, Meadway, Shuttleworth Mead Business Park, Padiham, is applying to change an existing Goods Vehicle Operator’s Licence to keep an extra nine goods vehicles and 20 trailers at the operating centre at Knauf Insulation Ltd, Pontyfelin Works, Croesyceiliog, Cwmbran.
* Lee Snook of Isabellas, Unit 74B Kingsway Centre, Newport, is applying to Newport City Council for a premises licence for the sale of alcohol from Tuesday to Friday 5pm to 11pm, Saturday noon to 11pm, and Sunday from noon to 10.30pm.
* Newport City Council is to stop up the public footpath running from Devon Place through the subway using associated ramps and steps for 164 metres to Queensway.
