In Wales and need the loo? You’re in luck.
We've all been there but now Check My Body Health has the answers to all your prayers with their Top 30 list of UK cities with access to public toilets and pharmacies.
Check My Body Health have analysed and ranked each UK city based on the number of public toilets and pharmacies available there.
There is no doubt Wales is the best place to be.
The top three scores in Check My Body Health’s study belonged to places in Wales.
St Asaph claimed top spot with a score of 68.8 out of 100.
That was down to its 13 public facilities, nearly half of which were accessible.
St David’s took second with 56.1 and Bangor took third with 25.8.
However, none of the remaining top 30 in the UK were found in Wales while Cardiff finished in the bottom four places across the UK.

Sian Baker, Head of Wellbeing Services and Registered Nutritional Therapist at Check My Body Health comments: “For those with digestive problems such as IBS, IBD or food intolerances, even normal activities like seeing a friend for a coffee or lunch can come with a lot of added stress.
“That’s why it’s great to see that so many cities have good access to pharmacies and public toilet facilities to help cater to visitors with additional needs.
“It’s brilliant to see some smaller, often overlooked cities such as St Davids, Chichester and Wells making it into the top ten, as well as some more popular city destinations such as Newcastle upon Tyne and Manchester.
”However, with some cities seeing the equivalent of thousands of people per public toilet, there is definitely plenty of room to improve our access to these facilities, particularly that 74 per cent of the public said there weren’t enough toilets in their area in 2019.”
