CARDIFF'S Winter Wonderland is returning this winter and "will be bigger and better than ever before".
Split across two locations in the heart of the city centre, visitors will now be able to experience Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland at City Hall Lawns and Cardiff Castle.
This year, the Castle grounds will become home to an undercover ice rink and a 150m ice walk.
In addition to the popular funfair attractions, City Hall Lawns will also feature two bars for 2021 – a Sur La Piste Bar with rooftop terrace and a new ice bar.
Visitors will be able to chill (literally) in temperatures as low as -10 degrees.
The famous ferris wheel will also return to City Hall Lawns, which offers some of the best views of Cardiff.
Cllr Peter Bradbury said: "Cardiff's Winter Wonderland is a stand-out event for the capital and a firm favourite in the city's seasonal festivities.
“The news that 2021 will see Cardiff’s biggest Winter Wonderland yet, at two of our most iconic landmarks, is fantastic and means we can welcome visitors over plenty of space for a safe experience at this first-class attraction.”
Organiser of Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland, Norman Sayers said: “This year’s Winter Wonderland will be bigger and better than ever before – by spreading the event over two prestigious locations we are ensuring that visitors will have plenty of space to enjoy all of the attractions and atmosphere that makes Winter Wonderland so popular."
Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland will be open from 16th November 2021 and tickets for the ice rink are on sale at ticketsource.co.uk/cardiff-winter-wonderland-2021
