A CYCLIST has been taken to hospital following a crash in Caerleon this morning.
Gwent Police were called to reports of a crash involving a car and a cyclist on Mill Street at around 9.17am.
The cyclist was taken to the Grange University Hospital after sustaining arm and leg injuries.

"We received a call at 9.17am today reporting a road traffic collision involving a cyclist and a grey Toyota Aygo," said a police spokeswoman.
"The collision took place on Mill Street in Caerleon.
"The cyclist sustained arm and leg injuries and is receiving treatment at The Grange hospital."
