WALES has recorded two more coronavirus-related deaths today according to Public Health Wales – but none are in Gwent.
It leaves the total in the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board to 1,001 and the Wales-wide total at 5,839.
Across Wales, 2,727 new coronavirus cases were recorded – with 476 of these in the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
Caerphilly continues to record the highest numbers in Gwent, with 177, Newport recorded 135 new cases, Blaenau Gwent recorded 70, Monmouthshire recorded 49 and Torfaen 45.
Only Cardiff, Rhondda Cynon Taf and Swansea recorded more new cases than Caerphilly.
