EBBW Vale aim to build on their superb Premiership Cup win at Merthyr when they welcome Pontypridd to Eugene Cross Park today.
The Steelmen edged a cracker at the Wern on opening weekend when fly-half Lewis K Williams kicked them to a 26-24 success.
Head coach Greg Woods keeps changes to a minimum with the backs unchanged.
Dan Hill moves from back row to lock with Scott Parsons and Ethan Doyle getting the nod at blindside and number eight after coming off the bench at Merthyr.
Skills coach Gethin Robinson said: "The boys have worked hard this week looking to build on the win we had against a tough Merthyr side.
"We know we've a huge challenge waiting for us in the form of Ponty and have been impressed with what we've seen of them so far.
"I know the boys can't wait to run out in front of our great home support, who we hope will turn up in their loud numbers, as they do."
Ponty are hunting a Gwent double after edging out Newport 19-17 at Sardis Road on opening weekend.

- Cross Keys will aim to celebrate Tom Lampard hitting 400 league and cup appearances for the club with victory against Bedwas.
The lock will lead out his side at Pandy Park in the Championship Cup, with Bargoed already having clinched top spot in the three-team Gwent group.
Lampard is closing in on the post-war record of legendary prop Richie Donovan, who played 412 times for Keys.
- Pontypool have appointed Adam Brown as physiotherapist for the coming Championship season with the former Dragons and London Welsh forward also providing cover for the second row.
The 33-year-old said: "My primary focus will be to provide an excellent physiotherapy and medical service, alongside the hardworking medical staff already in place at the club.
"However, I do still feel I have plenty to offer on the pitch after a sabbatical."
