ALLEN BOWDEN, 48, of Lewis Street, Blackwood, was jailed for eight weeks after he admitted stealing seven joints of beef worth £66.43 from Aldi on September 10.
SANU MIAH, 48, of Milman Street, Newport, was ordered to pay £344 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving while he was using a hand-held mobile telephone on Alice Street on February 17.

OLIVER PREECE, 26, of Park Hill, Tredegar, was ordered to pay £344 in a fine, compensation, costs and a surcharge after he admitted causing criminal damage to a Gwent Police van in Caerphilly on August 11.
OLIVER HUGH BARTON, 27, of Tanybryn, Pontymister, Risca, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

MADELEINE BURROWS, 42, of Oak Street, Abertillery, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

JULIAN MATTHEW GARDNER, 51, of Alma Street, Brynmawr, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

MATTHEW GROVES, 49, of Kemeys Road, Llancayo, near Usk, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving without insurance on the A472 on February 28.

MICHAEL LEE, 33, of Albert Street, Newport, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving without insurance on Clarence Place on February 24.

DALE ROBERT WILLIAMS, 27, of Hawthorn Avenue, Hengoed, Caerphilly, was ordered to pay £284 in fines, costs and a surcharge for driving without insurance and driving without insurance on Park View, Bargoed, on February 23.
