THERE have been four new deaths in Gwent relating to Covid-19 according to Public Health Wales’ latest statistics – out of six in Wales.
This brings the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board’s total to 1,008 and the Wales-wide total to 5,870.
Of the 2,270 cases recorded in that period, 507 were recorded in Gwent. Caerphilly continues to be one of the areas with the highest new cases, recording 177. Newport recorded 123 new cases, Torfaen recorded 80, Blaenau Gwent recorded 74 and Monmouthshire recorded 53.
