THESE ten areas of Wales currently have the worst Covid rates in the country.
All of the top ten have seen Covid cases in more than 1 in every 100 people over the last seven days.
MSOA (middle layer super output areas) data released by Public Health Wales shows the ten areas that have some of the highest rates in Wales.
The latest weekly figures reveal six areas have rates north of 1,400 cases per 100,000 people.

The highest rate across the country is Denbigh West, in Denbighshire.
The area recorded 78 new cases in the seven days between September 19 and September 25.
That gives it the highest Covid rate in Wales over the period, with 1,491.4 cases per 100,000 people.
Second is Sandfields in Neath Port Talbot, with a rate of 1,479.5 cases per 100,000 people after recording 146 cases in a single week.
Neath Port Talbot and Rhondda Cynon Taf both appear in the top ten three times.
In Neath Port Talbot, Dulais Valley and Pontardawe also make the list along with Sandfields.
While Treorchy, Glyncoch & Ynysybwl, and Llantrisant & Talbot Green all make the list from Rhondda Cynon Taf.
Two areas of Caerphilly, Denbigh West in Denbighshire, and Milford Haven West in Pembrokeshire also made the list.

These are the parts of Wales with the highest Covid rates in the country over the last seven days.
- Denbigh West – 1,491.4 cases per 100,000 people.
- Sandfields – 1,479.5 cases per 100,000 people.
- Pontllanfraith – 1,464.8 cases per 100,000 people.
- Dulais Valley – 1,453.2 cases per 100,000 people.
- North Blackwood, Argoed & Markham – 1,445.4 cases per 100,000 people.
- Pontardawe – 1,415.8 cases per 100,000 people.
- Glyncoch & Ynysybwl – 1,343.0 cases per 100,000 people.
- Treorchy – 1,339.2 cases per 100,000 people.
- Llantrisant & Talbot Green – 1,330.2 cases per 100,000 people.
- Milford Haven West – 1,322.0 cases per 100,000 people.
