PATRONS at a Chepstow pub were evacuated yesterday after a gas leak.
The incident happened at around 3.15pm, at the George Hotel on Moor Street in the town.
There was a sizeable emergency service presence at the pub - next to the town's historic arch at the top of the high street.
Three fire engines, fire crews and police officers were on-scene for around an hour.
The gas to the property was isolated.
