Red Fort
The Red Fort in Caerleon is an Indian restaurant and was praised by vegans and vegetarians for the adaptability of their menu.
One reviewer said: “I just wanted to take a moment to leave a review for this fabulous Indian restaurant, being vegan it can sometimes be a chore eating out and watching the ingredients, I can honestly say eating here was such a pleasure the owner and staff are so accommodating and the food is totally amazing.
“The owner, knowing I was vegan, offered to make any dish I fancied on the menu and vegan it up for me, they made me some of the best onion bhajis I've ever had vegan or otherwise, when they came I was taking a photo of them to show my other half who is also vegan, the manager noticing this brought me out a takeaway box with more bhajis in to take home for my 'lovely lady' this blew me away by how nice of a gesture this was and goes above and beyond customer service.
“I cannot give this restaurant anything but praise, if you like Indian food and you're near Caerleon treat yourself and go here you won't regret it, and your stomach and tastebuds will thank you for it.”
