A DRUG dealer was told he faces a long stretch in prison after he admitted cocaine and cannabis trafficking offences.
Abdul Ali, 21, of Courtybella Terrace, Pill, Newport, was given the warning after he appeared before the city’s crown court.
The defendant pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of the class A and class B drugs between September 9, 2019 and August 18, 2021.

Ali’s sentence was adjourned for the preparation of a probation report.
This would only go towards determining the length of his immediate jail term, Judge Daniel Williams said.

The defendant was remanded in custody and is due to be sentenced on October 25.
Ali was represented by Stuart John and the prosecution by Rebecca Griffiths.
