Now that most Covid-19 restrictions have relaxed across the country, families will be looking forward to a little normality returning to the classroom between now and 2022.
It's almost half term and we know that your kids have earned some downtime.
With these next set of holidays fast approaching, here are the dates and recent Covid updates to help you plan their time off.
Since half term dates vary by school, we are using the guidance from the Welsh Government but we recommend checking with your local school too.
When are October half-term dates in Wales?
Children across Wales will break up for half term on Friday, October 22.
Half-term in all local authority areas across Wales will run from Monday, October 25 until Friday, October 29, with pupils returning to school on Monday, November 1.
However, holiday dates will vary across Wales when it comes to Christmas.
When will children break up for Christmas holidays in Wales?
Different areas of Wales will break up for Christmas at different times this year.
This is when pupils will finish for their Christmas holidays in each local authority across the country.
