A WOMAN is to stand trial after she pleaded not guilty to causing serious injury by dangerous driving on a country road in Gwent.
Paige Webber, 20, denied causing serious injury to Tyla Murrell whilst driving an Audi A1 on Waunwaelod Way, near Caerphilly Mountain, on December 12, 2020.

The defendant, of Greenmeadow Terrace, Penrhiwfer, near Tonypandy, Rhondda Cynon Taf, entered her not guilty plea before Judge Huw Rees at Cardiff Crown Court.

Webber is due to stand trial on May 17, 2022.
She was granted unconditional bail.
The defendant was represented by Kevin Seal and the prosecution by Nigel Fryer.
