A MAN is set to go on trial next year after he pleaded not guilty to tax evasion charges.
Russell Donald, 61, of Ffordd Bevan, Pontrhydyrun, Cwmbran, faces two allegations.

He is accused of income tax evasion and taking steps to evade VAT due from Foresters Oaks Ltd between December 1, 2015 and December 31, 2017.
He denied both counts when he appeared before Judge Huw Rees at Cardiff Crown Court.

Donald is due to stand trial on April 19, 2022 with the case expected to last three days.
He was granted unconditional bail.
The defendant was represented by Peter Donnison and the prosecution by Nuhu Gobir.
