TWO young female drug dealers who were trafficking cannabis to fund their own habit have both been handed suspended prison sentences.
Eleanor Brown, 20, and Ella Powell, 21, were caught after police officers carried out a raid in Pontypool.
Richard Ace, prosecuting, said the duo made full admission to detectives after they were arrested in January.
The pair were found with just over 30g of cannabis.

Mr Ace told Cardiff Crown Court: “The defendants told the police they were doing it to fund their own habits.”
Brown, of Trostre, Hollybush, Cwmbran, and Powell, of Capel Newydd Avenue, Blaenavon, pleaded guilty to possession of the class B with intent to supply.
They also admitted supplying cannabis.
Judge Niclas Parry told the pair: “You have had some months for the penny to drop that what you did was a bad choice.
“You admitted these offences at the earliest and I accept that you are remorseful.
“People who deal drugs receive a custodial sentence.”
Brown and Powell were jailed for three months, suspended for 12 months.
They were each also ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge.
Before they left the dock, Judge Parry said to them: “Take your chance. Off you go.”
