Welsh band Bullet For My Valentine have announced the release of the seventh album on November 5th 2021.
Following the release of new single Rainbow Veins, their self-titled album marks the beginning of a new era for the band, with this being the heaviest album so far and is available for pre-order.
The band have also revealed they will be embarking on a UK tour, after the huge success of their last album Gravity and arena tour in 2018.
“This is the beginning of Bullet 2.0,” said vocalist and lead guitarist Matt Tuck.
“It signifies where we are right now. The music is fresh, it’s aggressive, it’s more visceral and passionate than it’s ever been.”
The band started writing the album in 2019, but the pandemic brought things to a halt in 2020.
They got together at Treehouse Studios, Chesterfield, in June 2020 and managed to finish the album with producer Carl Brown.
“I think this is a far more aggressive, intense part of Bullet For My Valentine,” said Tuck.
“It’s always been there, I’ve just never opened the floodgates on it. I want to take people’s heads off, in a metaphorical way.”
