A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Newport Magistrates’ Court and Cwmbran Magistrates’ Court.
MOLLY HANNAH GRAY, 25, of Aberthaw Close, Newport, was banned from driving for 15 months after she pleaded guilty to drug driving with a cannabis derivative in her blood on Aberthaw Road on February 22.
She was ordered to pay £339 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
MARK MORRIS, 57, of Bryn Y Fran Avenue, Trethomas, Caerphilly, was conditionally discharged for nine months after he admitted soliciting another person for the purpose of obtaining their sexual services as a prostitute in Tredegar Street, Newport, on July 28.
He was ordered to pay £107 in costs and a surcharge.

ROBERT DENNIS DAVIES, 46, of Waun Ebbw Road, Nantyglo, was banned from driving for 15 months after he pleaded guilty to drink driving with 60 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on Heol Onen, Brynmawr, on August 22.
He was ordered to pay £409 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
MICHELLE JANE GERRARD, 54, of Crescent Road, Risca, was banned from driving for six months after he failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle.
He was ordered to pay £834 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

RYAN HAYTER, 41, of The Square, Abertridwr, Caerphilly, was banned from driving for 17 months after he pleaded guilty to drink driving with 69 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath in Aberbeeg, Abertillery, on September 14.
He was ordered to pay £239 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
MIHAIL-ALEXANDRU BRATESCU, 22, of Collingwood Avenue, Newport, was banned from driving for six months for driving without insurance on Chepstow Road on February 7.
He was ordered to pay £530 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
RYAN MORGAN YEMM, 31, of Victoria Place, Bargoed, was ordered to pay £194 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after he admitted being drunk and disorderly in Ystrad Mynach on August 10.
MANUEL MUNTEAN, 22, of Corporation Road, Newport, was ordered to pay £525 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving whilst disqualified on Morris Street on July 26.
His driving record was endorsed with six points.
