A THIEF who stole an e-scooter and a bicycle on the same day has been jailed.
Jamie Blanchard, 44, of Commercial Road, Newport, went on a mini crime spree in the city on July 23.
He pleaded guilty to stealing a £337 e-scooter and a £400 bike and also admitted the theft of a £175 bicycle on June 24.

Cwmbran Magistrates’ Court heard how Blanchard has an “extensive record for offences of dishonesty”.
The defendant was jailed for 26 weeks.
Blanchard was also ordered to pay his victims £912 in compensation.
