LAST weekend, the annual Curry Life Awards were held – which celebrate the best restaurants and takeaways in the UK which specialise in all things curry.
The awards ceremony was held in London last Sunday (October 10), and showcased the best that the UK has to offer from one of the most popular cuisines.
Along with the restaurants and takeaways themselves, individual chefs were also celebrated for their ability to cook up a storm of delicious food.
But, while the awards recognised winners across the land, Newport and its curry houses did not emerge victorious.
However, despite the judges’ verdict, the local area is home to a number of establishments which serve delicious dishes to customers.
While we have our own favourites here at the Argus, we’re instead letting the people be the judges.
Below, you can check out the best places in Newport for an Indian meal, as determined by Trip Advisor.
Of course, if your favourite Indian hasn’t made the list, you can join in the conversation below, or on our dedicated social media channels.
