POLICE launched a hunt for a Gwent man convicted of grievous bodily harm who failed to appear in court for sentencing.
Lee Woodward, a 35-year-old Ebbw Vale man, was convicted of GBH on October 27 and was due to appear before Cardiff Crown Court on November 1 to be sentenced.
Woodward left his home some time before his court appearance and has not returned.
Officers from Gwent and South Wales Police have made enquiries into tracing Woodward, and believe he may be in the Merthyr or Aberdare areas.
Police also want to speak to him regarding a number of other incidents.
Members of the public are advised not to approach him and anyone with information about his whereabouts can contact either Gwent Police on 01633 838 111 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
